Safe-List-Monster... Rawrrrr!!!

I recently joined this site after seeing its ads a few times at a traffic exchange I surf on daily. After having joined a few safelists, I'm actually a bit wary of joining more. The reason is that I'm not totally convinced of their effectiveness. Sure they've helped me get some referrals here and there, but these referrals become inactive after some time. So why did I join Safe-List-Monster? One reason is I find it different from most safelists and list builders in that it's not boring. LOL! ^_^

I like the color of the splash pages and the appearance wherein they looked like hand-drawn images. As a FREE member, it is free to send email ads, but you'd need to earn 10000 points to send one. You earn points by viewing other members' email ads, a bonus when you find this monster pet... Call me strange but I actually find it cute. LOL! Upgrading only costs $37 one-time. However, I have yet to upgrade my account. For now, I just click on member email ads daily to earn points to send out my own email ad. Still, I like this site that is owned by Maryanne Myers. I Made Expert at Click Track Profit!!!

There's no doubt that I've been working hard to achieve it! The moment finally came last week! I finally made it to 'Expert' status at ClickTrackProfit. ^_^ 

It's cool to be an expert!

Yup! I've got the badge to prove it too! Yebah! :D So what do you exactly need to do to reach expert level? Well, you have to reach 1000 hits for your CTP Splash link in a number of sites listed under the CTP program. How long it takes depends on how fast traffic is delivered to your site. I must admit that some traffic exchanges deliver faster than others. But the bottomline is, I finally managed to achieve the end goal for now. Of course, I couldn't have done it without some help from a few of the friends I've made via SX chat. It makes working so much better when you work with a team. I've always been a staunch believer of teamwork and it has been proven to work many times over. 

I actually forgot to include the screen shot I made last time for the CTP Game Challenge. That week featured cute and funny looking animal badges that I enjoyed collecting. Well, I was able to collect a lot more after I've made the screen shot but didn't get to complete the collection. I was 11 badges short of completing it. :( Too bad huh? But it was somehow fun so all's well that ends well. Guess what badges we're supposed to collect this week? None other than members' badges!!! I actually didn't know how I would react initially when I saw that I made it to the top 28 list of badge collectors. Although I haven't as yet found my very own badge -- courtesy of the TimTech guys (Thank you guys! You totally ROCK!!!) -- I made a screen shot of it and am sharing it here... woo hoo! ^_^

Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!

The line is a memorable and widely-quoted (or misquoted) line from cinematic history. (source: Stinking Badges) However, I'm not talking about police badges in this case. In my previous entry, I mentioned about the "badge frenzy" going on with the ClickTrackProfit program. When it was launched, it definitely sent everyone enrolled in the program on a massive badge hunt! A lot of us instantly became badgeholics! (Mind you, I'm still in denial at this stage! LOL! ) ^_^ I would admit that surfing for badges as an extra reward added zest to the tedious task of surfing for credits (or even cash for that matter). It's totally a different kind of reward, but somehow there's an excitement of sorts when one finds a new badge. 

I'm not sure where this badge hunting is headed or how long the frenzy will last, but at the moment, I'm enjoying it! Seriously! :D For this week, it's "the TimTech nerds meet The Zoo" week. Perhaps there would be other themes in the weeks to come. Somehow it's like a trade secret :P But you gotta hand it to the TimTech guys for coming up with something different. We all know it's not easy to be different sometimes. "Be different and be damned." Just like the famous line from Gone with the Wind. Well, I'm just a surfer for now, struggling to make a breakthrough and hoping to find something that works for me that will truly help me achieve my goal of establishing a residual income. And just like badge hunting, who knows where this adventure will lead, huh? Gotta go now.. I've got some more animals to catch.. LOL! :P See you next blogging time...
