A new administration usually brings about new implementation. This time it's for Republic Act (R.A.) 9492 or the holiday economics law. August 21 is right around the corner. This is the day the nation observes Ninoy Aquino Day.
MalacaƱang issued Proclamation 13 late yesterday declaring holiday on Saturday, August 21, instead of the Monday nearest to it. According to the news article, implementation of the holiday economics law will be on a case-to-case basis.
Prior to this proclamation, that particular Saturday is supposed to be a working day for our office. I wonder if we'll get to enjoy the holiday. I sure hope so! :D
