Changes at Ad2million - For The Better???

I joined this program more than 100 days ago. I must admit I got curious because I was indeed looking for a feasible and viable program to invest in. Then I came upon an ad from a familiar name endorsing this program. I normally do not just jump in, but I had this strong gut feel that this could be a program I'm looking for. So I emailed my sponsor to inquire more about it, and I got a totally good response. Now that's another plus point -- it added to the deciding factor of whether I should give it a shot or not. Well, I did and the rest is now history.

So fast forward to the present... I truly like Ad2million because it enabled me to earn even without a referral. We all know that's one difficult challenge in Internet marketing.. recruiting sign-ups. I'm rather a conservative investor so I only purchased one position which cost me $10.00 plus AlertPay fees (totaled $11.65). One position earns you $0.20 a day. It is truly cool as within 50 days, I was able to re-purchase another position that increased my earnings by another $0.20 a day. Well, I still continues on to today wherein I now have a total of 5 positions, each earning 2% daily.

I do understand that programs such as this always encounter problems when program owners aren't able to plan financial well to ensure that the program continues to earn and not bleed dry in the long run. A few changes have been implemented in the last few months. Initially, there's the mandatory re-purchase for those who are withdrawing their earnings. This way the program is secured in that 50% of cash outs are being put back in.

Today there's another round of changes..

Right, so now ad positions purchased would expire after 180 days. Then there's the adjustment in computation based on the age of the purchased ad position. To simplify matters, I came up with this computation for a single ad position:

1 ad position($10) x 2%    x 60days = $12.00
                           x 1%    x 60days =  $ 6.00
                           x 0.5% x 60days =  $ 3.00
                                                       -----------
                                                        $21.00

Well, earnings have been cut tremendously for sure, but under the circumstances, it seems I can still earn under the new policy. Besides, I'm in for the long haul. I for one would want the program to continue on for many more years. The future remains uncertain. We can only make informed choices and hope for the best. LOL! ^_^

A Commitment to Health and Wellness

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Health is wealth, as we have often heard. This is indeed true. With the rising cost of living, being unfit or unwell can be quite costly. The rising cost of healthcare also adds to the worry of the ordinary citizen. However, in the daily course of our life, it is almost impossible not to experience pain, no matter how slight, as we carry on our daily tasks or routine. I'm not huge on popping pills or taking medicines every time I feel pain. But whenever I do experience pain I'm glad there's Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products. I more specifically go for Walgreens Low Dose Aspirin Tablets.

They're color and dye-free too, which makes perfect sense as you're taking a product to take care of your health. Plus I don't need to pay as much as a name brand product. Let's face it, paying less is great, especially for health maintenance. One other thing I like about Walgreens is its commitment to health, education, and disease prevention. Every purchase of Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products actually adds to the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™. This will in turn provide for preventive health and wellness services, tests, and education to local communities. I personally believe that we should support companies and organizations that not only strive to provide good, quality products but also to promote the welfare of larger communities as a way of giving back.

Incidentally, there's an ongoing Walgreens Brand Sweeps Contest that you can participate in. They have giveaways too, so I urge you to check it out. You may win some Walgreens Gift Cards.

And Life Goes On... One Year After!

Glitter Photos

Looking at last year's post, I saw that I missed my birthday blog by a week! Hmm, what was I doing then? LOL.. One thing for sure I'm happier doing what I'm doing now. If there's one thing I've realized, there's no accident in life. Everything has a reason and a purpose. I'm just happy to be alive and to be enjoying each day as it comes. Nothing cheesy, nothing too melodramatic as I don't want that in my life. Heck! I don't even enjoy watching soap operas on TV. ^_^

Another year is ahead of me. And just like before, I have no idea what's going to come out of it. I can only plan ahead as much as I can, set goals and targets, do my best to reach them, and enjoy each moment in my life's journey. After all, we're living on borrowed time. The least we could do is make the most if it. With that, I'm just so happy and thankful for all the blessings and cheers that came my way. Yesterday (it's 19th now -- past midnight my time LOL) was such a great day! The shameless promotion video that my daughter and I worked on won $60! (Link to the article) On top of that, I finally got another TrafficWave sign-up. He fast tracked too so I'm going to get commission from it. WooHoo! And to add to that, my level 1 referral on another program, Just2Bucks, received a sign-up that falls under my level 2! I was on a roll indeed! ^_^ I honestly didn't want the day to end. But like all good things, life does go on. So onwards to another year... let the challenge begin!

Happy Fathers' Day to all dads out there! In the Philippines, we are also celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. What a colorful weekend indeed! And the holiday extends till Monday too. So enjoy your time and spend it with your loved ones! Till next blogging time... ta-tah!

Howdy folks! It's another week.. we're entering the second week of classes here in Manila. I'm still adjusting to tutorial load 'coz load is usually lighter on the first week but gets more intense as each week passes. OMG! It's Empire Avenue!!!

{EAV_BLOG_VER:4e16d334db12a0d8}
Empire what??? you say.. Yeah, Empire Avenue (the people's market). Apparently this is new and I know a number of people raving about it. I saw a twitter post by Brian Rooney (TrafficWave owner) but didn't pay much attention to it. I was thinking it was another affiliate program or the like. Well, I'm into a few already and I'm trying to focus on my stuff so I didn't pay much attention to it really.

Then I attend a TE Live session. For those who aren't in the know, TE Live is a conference where a number of Internet marketers get together on a regular basis (Mon - Fri 3 - 4 pm EST) basically to talk about everything under the sun. LOL!

Actually, it's the TimTech guys (Jon Olson, Tim Linden, Justin Ledvina, and sometimes Larry Dame) that run the show. Yup! It's a lot of fun and, at the same time, informative; but I'll reserve that for another day ( and perhaps another post! LOL!) So why did I mention it at all? Well, it was Jon and Justin who actually engaged a number of us into Empire Avenue

Well, these guys have the reputation of gurus, so one would naturally want to check out what it is they're endorsing. My, oh my, now I seem to have another one of those Facebook games that I used to have! Well, I still have maintained some of them, but lost interest in a lot since they haven't exactly been real life moneymakers for me.

At this time, I'm not sure if joining EA had been such a good idea. But I did manage to connect with some new people -- chatted with a couple of them via EA, got pitched to purchase some shares, got a new friend on youtube, got a community invite -- all within 24 hours of joining. Indeed! ^_^

Well, in case this translates to anything good for my Internet marketing efforts, only time will tell. And you'll definitely hear about it as I'm going to blog about it naturally! So till another update... enjoy your weekend! Remember to spend time with your family and loved ones! Ta-tah!

Help Us Grow the IMTrustWorthy Community

There has been a pretty clear line drawn across the Internet Marketing industry lately. This line divides the ethical marketers from the snakes. You know the scammers with all the hypey “auto pilot one click instant traffic riches”  The industry has had it and many marketers have been very vocal about this recently. It appears that the scammers have simply pushed the envelop too far.

For years we've seen digital “product launches”...  we've all become accustomed to it, a few pre-launch videos, maybe a free giveaway and then the big “reveal.”  It's all good and in many cases very useful stuff, at the very least its educational and entertaining. But lately, there has been quite a few “launches” that spewed outright lies on the industry. Outrageous claims, fictitious product creators portrayed by paid actors, fabricated and doctored images to serve as income proof for a product that can't do what it claims or might not even exist.

Marketers and consumers from every niche have been speaking out more and more against the snakes and scammers. The top industry forums are full of threads about these crappy products an the snakes that make them. Bloggers have gone crazy putting these guys on blast and Facebook has been buzzing for months about it. There are hundreds of Youtube videos where  marketers and consumers of digital info products and software are speaking their minds. I guess the final straw has broken the camels back.

The public outcry was heard loud and clear by a select group of ethical marketers that have banded together to create what is the first website to unify the good guys and hold marketers accountable for their actions. The website is called IMTrustWorthy.com and it several purposes for both internet marketers and consumers of digital products. The members have all agreed to abide by the IMTrustWorthy “Prudent Practices” of Internet marketing. This is a list of 12 rules that help protect consumers from fraud and hold the marketer to a high standard of commerce.

First off, IMTrustWorthy provides a “seal” image with your unique license number digitally imprinted. The seal code can be placed on your website for the world to see that you are a registered member of IMTrustWorthy. When a visitor clicks on the seal a window pops open with the marketers name, and rating. The window may also contain comments from other IMTrustWorthy members regarding the character and trustworthiness of the marketer in question.

A member's rating is determined by an algorithm that takes the positive and negative feedback left on their site into high consideration. This is a lot like the feedback rating in eBay except here the feedback is demonstrated by 5 stars and the comments are displayed on the marketers profile page.  This is so that a potential customer or JV can look at what other members are saying rather than just having to take the endorsement of the company that sold the seal. In other words, you can't just “buy” your trustworthiness.

That being said, there is also a “Premier” membership available for $17 per month. The premier members have some additional features inside the members area, they get a multi-site license which enables them to use the seal on as many sites as they own.  Also, they get access to a “Seal Generator”, this is a software that lets you create seals in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Premier members also get to load a banner and link for their site which rotates in the website and can potentially bring consumers back to their offer.  Over all this is a pretty good value for only $17 when you consider the prices that those “other” seal companies out there charge.

One of the things that you'll like the most about IMTrustWorthy is the social aspect and the ability to meet other GOOD guys. The website has a “JV WALL” this is basically a comunication page where you can comment on the threads and connect with other marketers. There is also an internal messaging system.  It's no Facebook, (then again who needs another Facebook) but it is well suited to help marketers create joint venture partnerships and affiliations with other IMTrustWorthy members.

I think it's about time that we band together and separate ourselves from the snakes and the scammers. All in all this website is a WIN for the good guys. Sure, there will be scammers that try to brandish the IMTrustWorthy seal, but the other members will quickly make that known in the  comments and their rating will drop. IMTrustWorthy doesn't actually rate the marketers, the members do. If you ask me, thats a pretty fair shake and only the scammers need to be afraid.  I suggest you create a free account and check it out for yourself.

What's New With CTP (ClickTrackProfit)?

Yes, it's been several months down the line since I joined ClickTrackProfit, better known as CTP. So what's new? Has the frenzy for this program died down? Personally, I don't think so. After all, I do get to see new splashes from apparently new sign-ups to this awesome program. I'm saying that not because I'm in it, but because this program is highly recommended to those who want to start earning online.

Imagine a program that offers a step-by-step guide to setting up. It comes complete with video guides too. It truly is helpful, esp. for newbies. Even PRO marketers would learn from it. So if you haven't joined, JOIN HERE, so you don't miss out on a chance to learn more about running a business online.

Badges Updates

Contrary to others' projection, the craving for CTP badges hasn't died down either. In fact, CTP badges aren't only confined to the TimTech sites : ILoveHits, StartXchange, Sweeva, AdKreator. Badges can now be found at some of the sites I will be listing here. Of course, I haven't totally found all those badges yet, but I will be featuring the ones where I've completed the collection.

ThumbVu

free manual traffic exchange

Thumbnail viewing site. Owned by John Guanzon. Has surf on mobile feature. You choose the site you want to view from thumbnails shown. I like the widget that looks like an iPhone. LOL! ^_^

SurfSkeleton

Fun to surf. You get Sweeva'd! Just surf 10 a day continuously and earn increasing credits. Love the Treasure Vault > you get to win credits, banners and texts even when you don't guess the right combination.

SiteXplosion

I like the prize page that looks like a CTP page. Chuck Norris on word search every 25 pages. Great if you're a fan LOL!  Like the weekly bonus > you get to claim 100 credits.

Naughty Or Nice Traffic

Naughty or nice? You decide... LOL! The site isn't so bad. Nice background setting can be changed whether you are feeling nice or naughty. The prize page is nice, but you have 50-50 chance of getting the big credits, banners and texts prize. Parental guidance suggested during surfing as surf icons can be naughty. But it seems that surf bar icons have been changed as I'm surfing there right this time. :P

Super Traffic Highway

Owned by Hilbert Gavel. Love the images on this site. I truly find Tucker cute! LOL ^_^ Any site and owner that supports CTP is a plus factor in my books. It's also one of the reasons I like surfing certain TEs.

There are a few other sites that offer badges, but I haven't completed the collection yet. Perhaps I'll run another feature when I do.

The great thing about badges at TimTech sites is that regular badges are now tiered, meaning you can claim them multiple times and still get the badge (with series number based on times claimed). In time, I guess more TE sites outside of TimTech would be offering regular tiered badges. So stay tuned!

Well, it's midweek once again! Enjoy the rest of the week! Classes for SY 2011-12 have started! And this day has been a VERY RAINY one! Be safe and be well.. till next blogging time.. ta-tah!

Some More Winnings! Yipee!

All righty, this is a real quick post. Just wanted to share these small but otherwise well worth winnings from a traffic exchange - TezakTrafficPower - and a PTC - ClixSense

Well worth? Naturally! 'Coz they're not too easy to win! LOLOLOL!!! If you're familiar with ClixSense, it has ClixGrid wherein as a Premium member, you will have 50 chances of finding a cash prize hidden beneath each grid. You'll have to view ads and find out whether you've found cash or not. To date, I've won $3.85 in total. Yup, it's not easy to find the cash and so when you do, you'll kinda jump for joy! ^_^

WooHoo! Both won on the same day too! LOLOLOL! I was lucky that day I guess 'coz mostly all I ever get at TTP are credits, banners, texts, or list ad impressions. Cash prizes do abound but I hardly ever find them! To date, I have yet to cash out from TTP, but I know I'll get there one day. ^_^

For now, happy surfing to all! I hope to have more cash prize winnings as these help a lot in my online ventures. Till next blogging time.. ta-tah!
