I Got Paid Today!

Yup! After a month or so of clicking ads, I got paid again today. This time it's from another PTC that I've joined. I did rent 3 referrals for a month. I got lucky with my three rented referrals as they're pretty good clickers too. Anyway, to cut the long story short, Onbux.com indeed pays instantly. My PayPal account got credited as soon as I sent out a request for payment. Wow! That's pretty amazing. The important thing is, this PTC really pays. If you haven't joined it yet, please feel free to click my link and join under me. I pretty much need referrals.

For those who are starting out in this venture, you just need to be patient and consistent. Allotting a few minutes of your time to click on ads daily does pay. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme but at least it's still income. LOL! ^_^ Of course, you'll need to sign up for PayPal. That's a quick way of getting paid.

Sick

That's right! I see myself in that picture. I was really that sick since Sunday, a day after the bowling tournament at work. The tournament was in celebration of the company's 40th Anniversary. Well, it was actually the first time ever that I played bowling. I'm not really a sporty person so I don't pursue sports. In fact, I took ballroom dancing and modern jazz as my P.E. electives way back my university days. LOL! ^_^ Going back to the topic, I've never felt so weak in my life. And then there was the fever and sore throat. :( The feeling really sucks! Big time! I couldn't even get out of bed. So I took an extra day off from work the following day. A little bit of herbal medicine courtesy of mom really helped make me feel better. I'm so glad mom likes brewing herbal teas. :D

Well it's back to work today for me. But I still have the sore throat and dry cough. But if it's any consolation, at least I can already get out of bed. Yey! That would mean more computer time for me at home. LOL! ^_^ So here's to more blogging days....... and remember to sip that herbal tea. :)

What is email marketing?

Email marketing is the use of email in marketing communications. For those who are new to this concept, the term covers every email sent to a customer, potential customers, or even a public venue. It generally refers to sending direct promotional email to try and acquire new customers or persuade existing customers to purchase additional products.

Ever wondered why email marketing is so popular? Well, everyone knows by now that sending email is much cheaper than most other forms of communication. It lets you deliver your message to people without having them visit your website. Plus, it has been proven to work by those who do it right. Benefits of email marketing can be found here. It works for a variety of reasons: 1) allows targeting; 2) is data driven; 3) drives direct sales; 4) builds relationships, loyalty and trust; and 5) supports sales through other channels.

I have to admit that I have lots to learn in terms of making money online. But like I previously mentioned, I’m on a journey... a journey to discovering possible ways of building residual income through the use of the Internet. Slowly but surely I’m trying to learn as much as I can. I’m reading through lots of articles and sites and familiarizing myself with concepts and terms involved. I guess you can say I found a new avenue of learning. Learning after all is a life-long process. I hope that I would be able to share more insights about my journey in the days and weeks to come. Stay tuned! For now, I leave you with another good resource on email marketing. ^_^ Till next  blog.. Have a great and fun weekend! Remember to spend it with your loved ones! Ta-tah! :D

Residual Income

I decided to research today on the definition of residual income. I actually found a lot of links from Google search that offer very good definition of the term. So why did I suddenly think about this topic? Well, I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and realized that this is one aspect I would need to work on in my life right now. I've been employed since I graduated from the university but found that my active income from employment wasn't enough for something more. Indeed, I've been exploring the concept of being my own boss, where I will be actively working for myself to build what you would call a "nest egg." This is something that isn't easy to do when you're just relying on your monthly salary or wage. Let's face it. Being an employee won't make you rich. Sometimes it doesn't even guarantee comfortable living. What you do get from it is hand-to-mouth existence. You're paying your bills and waiting for the next pay day. It goes on and on and on. That's until you find a way to make more on the side in addition to your salary or wage. I must admit I'm on a journey right now, one that I hope would enable me to find a way to earn more in terms of residual income.

Here's a really good article I found by Scott Allen on Passive Income. It is indeed very informative. After all, who wouldn't want to earn more and work less? ^_^ Reading about the topic is a start. Next step would be on taking steps on the path to find residual income. I would definitely share my experiences on my journey. After all, I do believe that wealth / prosperity should be shared. There is abundance in the world. With that, there goes another blogging day. Till next time... Ta-tah! :D

Exploring Money Making Online

Howdy folks! It's me again.. talking about earning potentials while being online. Well, it's been a month since I started joining PTC sites. I only have a few so far. Now that I'm getting quite the hang of it, I'm starting to explore more options. So how far have I come? Not that much, I'm afraid. While the task of clicking on ads may seem simple, it's not a get-rich-quick scheme. Most reliable sites only offer a minimal fee for clicking ads. You can, of course, earn a bit more by having referrals. In my case, I would only endorse sites that I personally find acceptable. After all, it's my reputation that is at stake too. I previously wrote about one PTC site that paid me $1.00. That was a lot of hard work you know. LOL! You got to be consistent and determined. Most of the time, you invest a lot of your time and energy. That's why it's just as important to do your research on the various sites before joining in. You wouldn't want to waste all that persistence for nothing. Here's one site that I'm glad I found while surfing for more information about PTCs. It's called PTC Investigations. Feel free to click on the link if you need to find information about a PTC you're interested in. The site offers a comprehensive list of PTCs with reviews on each one. It has a list of Elite sites, Legit sites, and even Scam sites. I guess it would be safe to join the tried and tested ones. Plus, it would help if you do your own reviews based on your own experience too. That would be like helping out a lot of newbies out there. I'm waiting for more payouts before I do reviews.

For the meantime, I got paid twice already for some sponsored blogs I wrote a while back. I'm expecting another payment this week. But so far, being paid to blog isn't as lucrative as getting paid to click ads or read mail. Plus, it's a bit more complex. Still, I'm glad to do it once in a while. This venture has taken up a lot of my time indeed! And then there's work and tutorial on the side. I've cut back on playing games on my facebook account! LOL! ^_^ I sure hope that all the hard work will eventually pay off.. in due time.. in due time.. Well, off I go now to do more clickings before calling it a day. Tomorrow is another day! Enjoy another week of work. Ta-tah! :D

Beat the Gloom Today

Have you awakened feeling down and out and feeling so low? It's like nothing feels right or good. You're tense and worried and the feeling of gloom won't somehow go away. If so, what do you do about it? In the past, I have had that feeling of gloom. But I consider myself lucky that I haven't encountered that feeling in a long time. So how do you cheer yourself up on moments like that? In my case, I make it a point to have at least a few minutes each day for quiet time. It somehow helps when I get to stop and reflect on the day's happenings. I sometimes use this time to look at my life's perspective as well. It's a way for me to assess whether I'm right on track with my goals in life. Quiet time is perfect for reflection and meditation too. It somehow re-energizes and recharges me from all the stressful happenings around me. Prayer is helpful. At times when a certain feeling of hopelessness creeps in, I ward it off by having a moment of prayer. It usually works.

Well, here's a little something that might help make your day right. It's a short, original poem I wrote some years back to recite or chant as I wake up in the morning.

"At the start of the day
Blessings be on my way.
And as the sun starts to shine,
everything will be just fine."

Try it. It might work for you as well. It even works on rainy mornings. LOL! ^_^ It's a holiday where I am right now, so I'm writing this from the comforts of home. I love holidays!!! :D Anyway, have a great, fun and stress-free weekend! Till next blog...

And So It's September...

Ha! I'm guilty again of being caught up in daily life that I have failed to update my blog in a timely manner. I must admit that sometimes too many things are happening all at once and 24 hours seems too short to do all that need to be done. And so it's September! Yup, it's the ninth month of the year in the Gregorian calendar. In the Philippines, the '-ber' months mark the start of the Christmas season. I'm not and have not been excited about that for a long time now.

So what's new? Well, it's busier at the office for one. Then there's my freelance  tutorial. Plus, of course, there's my venture into making money online. I'll keep my PTC page updated as I discover good and not-so-good ventures. For now, the banners featured there are the ones I would recommend to friends. It hasn't been a month since I signed up with most of them so it's still a bit too early to tell if these sites do pay well. But I have encountered a lot of reviews and suggestions along the way. The challenging part for me right now is getting people to sign up as my referral.

There is one site I wouldn't recommend though. It's called DonkeyMails.com. It was good at the start and I worked really hard to accumulate my earnings on that site. I even made $1.15 in two weeks. Then all of a sudden they suspended my account for no valid reasons at all!!! In a way, I learned something from that experience. I just consider it as part of the learning process. So in case you encounter that site, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME with them. There are better sites out there.

Incidentally, there's a holiday coming up this weekend. Sept. 10 declared as regular holiday. That's posted on BusinessWorld Online. Yoohoo! I love holidays, esp. when it's the weekend too! ^_^ Enjoy your weekend! Ta-tah!
